Hollywood beauty Anne Hathaway gave the perfect Christmas gift for members of a choir school, inviting them to the greatest show of Hollywood, the Academy Awards.
Students at PS City of New York from 22 schools were thrilled when the actress made a surprise appearance at its annual Winter Concert. But he knew that the biggest surprise was yet to come.
The 28-year-old took the stage during the concert and announced that all the choir to be presented at the Oscars in February, New York Post reported online.
As expected, students were overwhelmed with emotion at the news and could not stop clapping and cheering.
The actress with James Franco will host the 83rd Academy Awards to be held on February 27 next year in Los Angeles.
The younger actors will be hosting the ceremony for decades, as the show's producers are looking to attract a new generation of viewers to the live broadcast
